01 — Physiotherapy

Relearning the language of movement.

Physiotherapy is more than quieting a pain. The body recovers a pattern of movement it had briefly forgotten, and muscle and nerve propose a new arrangement to each other.

Assessment is the work of observation, not of metrics. We watch how you walk, the angle you hold when seated, whether breath falls into your chest or your belly. A programme emerges from that.

Manual therapy, exercise and education work in triplet. One alone is not enough; two leave a gap. Assembling the three on your behalf, at the same hour, is our craft.

Whether you are an athlete, recovering after surgery or carrying a shoulder pain that has persisted for years, the first session is always the same: patience, attention and listening.

Who it suits

Rehabilitation after a sports injury

Post-operative recovery

Chronic neck, back and low-back pain

Postural issues and restricted mobility

How it works

Relearning the language of movement.

I

Initial Assessment

We listen to your history, current complaint and goal. A brief examination and a set of functional tests follow.

II

Plan Design

From the assessment we build a weekly plan — the number of sessions, their intensity, and the exercises you do at home.

III

Sessions in Practice

Manual therapy, active exercise and, where useful, taping. Each session is built upon the previous, by design.

IV

Follow-up & Revision

A weekly read-back and adjustment of the plan. Recovery is not linear, and neither is our programme.

Frequently asked questions

Come in comfortable clothing. The first session is mostly assessment — history, examination, brief testing — ending with a proposed plan.

Most cases start with two sessions a week and move to one as the complaint eases. Home exercises, outside the session, matter just as much.

It depends on the protocol your surgeon has written. Early movement often helps; we plan the timing together.

Typically 45 minutes. The initial assessment can extend to 60. We tailor the length to the programme.

Sessions still go well, but progress slows. Home work is the bridge between visits; crossing without it is hard.
